About CAR

The Coastal Association of REALTORS® (CAR) is a trade organization for real estate professionals in Wicomico, Worcester and Somerset Counties on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Our membership consists of over 1,000 REALTOR® and affilate members serving the home buying and home selling needs of the public since 1957.

The term REALTOR® is a registered collective membership mark which may be used only by real estate professionals who are members of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® and subscribe to its strict Code of Ethics.

Somerset County
Somerset County, on Maryland's Eastern Shore, is the state's southernmost county. The Chesapeake Bay forms it's western boundary, Virginia it's southern. Routes U.S and MD 413 provide access to major interstate routes. The Norfolk/Hampton Roads metropolitan area is 95 miles south. Somerset is a water-oriented County that attracts fishermen, hunters, boaters, tourists, history buffs, naturalists, and other water sports enthusiasts.

Wicomico County
Wicomico County, located in the geographic center of the Delmarva Penninsula, is the regional economic and cultural hub of the entire Eastern Shore. From first-class medical facilities to recreational parks to arts and entertainment, Wicomico County has it all.

Worcester County
Worcester County is the easternmost county in Maryland and borders the Atlantic Ocean from Virginia to Delaware on the Delmarva Penninsula.
